Hodgman welcomes Tas health millions

Tasmanian Premier Will Hodgman returns from Canberra's Council of Australian Governments (COAG) meeting with $54 million for his state's struggling health system.
The Liberal leader on Friday welcomed the funding injection to reach from 2017 to 2020 and was pleased to announce the talks had also rejected a federal-government proposed state-based income tax funding scheme.
"Both of these outcomes are very good news, and a result of our strong advocacy on behalf of the state," Mr Hodgman said in a statement.
