Guns, chainsaws stolen from Tassie home

A Tasmanian man has been charged over the theft of six guns, ammunition and two chainsaws from a home near Hobart.

Two of the guns and some of the ammunition were recovered by police during a raid on a Bridgewater home on Monday.

A 22-year-old Bridgewater man was subsequently charged with a number of offences including aggravated burglary, stealing and possession of a stolen firearm. Tasmania Police say they are working to locate the other guns and the chainsaws.
