Grog truck rolls in Tasmania

A booze-filled truck has tip-pled in northwest Tasmania when its driver failed to negotiate a roundabout.

The 40-year-old woman behind the wheel was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the truck rolled on the Bass Highway near Burnie about 9.20am on Thursday, causing traffic delays for hours.

"A shipping container being carried by the truck contained alcohol," said police sergeant Craig Harvey, and while the state of the contents hasn't been revealed, investigators will look into the cause of the crash.
