Five men to be charged over Tas drug bust

A drug bust in northern Tasmania will see five people charged with a range of offences including trafficking, police say.

A raid on Monday night of a rural property near Devonport allegedly found 1.5kgs of cannabis, almost a kilogram of the drug commonly known as ice, a large amount of cash, firearm and scales.

A 36-year-old man faced court on Tuesday charged with trafficking and will appear again on Wednesday.
