The death of a Hobart man found to have fallen to his death from a boat while he was drunk has prompted a warning from a coroner.
The body of truck driver Luke Andrew Bradshaw, 39, was found floating in Hobart's Prince of Wales Bay on June 27, 2014 and a coroner on Thursday found he was likely to have slipped and fallen while trying to alight the moored vessel.
He had been drinking beer and whisky on board with a mate who fell asleep.

"The tragic death of Mr Bradshaw causes me to remind members of the public of the dangers of drinking to intoxication whilst using boats," coroner Olivia McTaggart said in her findings.
