A group of 10 keen charity runners will reach the halfway mark in Hobart of seven marathons over seven days in seven states and territories.

Raising money and awareness for child protection through charity Bravehearts and supported by ironman Guy Andrews, the team will embark on their fourth 42 kilometre run in as many days on Thursday when they set off from Hobart's cenotaph at 7am.

About 50 local runners will join the event that has already visited Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne.
