Car sought after fire guts house

A Subaru Outback wagon could be linked to a suspicious fire which destroyed a house on the outskirts of Hobart, police say.

The unoccupied dwelling was completely gutted by fire on Sunday afternoon leaving a damage bill of $150,000, Inspector Stephen Burk said.

"Police would like people to come forward with information regarding any vehicles seen in the area ... but particularly the movements of a blue early 2000s model Subaru Outback wagon," he said.
