Boys nabbed after Hobart house fire

Three boys set fire to a derelict Hobart house, completely destroying the property, police say.

Fire crews were called to the address in McKellar Street, South Hobart on Friday afternoon where they extinguished the blaze and no one was injured.

"This property is a derelict house that was partially destroyed during a previous fire and has remained insecure since and has a current demolition order," police Sergeant Kim Norton said, adding that the accused trio will face juvenile justice punishment.
