Boy killed by dad's reversing car in Tas

A three-year-old boy has died after he walked behind a reversing vehicle being driven by his father in northern Tasmania.

The incident happened at Badgers Head on Sunday and the boy died while being rushed to hospital, police said.

"Our thoughts are with the family at this tragic time, and it is asked that their privacy be respected," Inspector Gary Williams said on Monday.
