Body found in Tas, could be murdered man

A body believed to be of murdered man Bradley Breward has been found by police divers in Tasmania.

The man's body was found at Lake Eugenana on Friday night and it's believed to be that of Mr Breward, who police allege was punched, kicked and suffocated with a plastic bag at a house in Newnham on New Year's Day.

His body was then moved by the offenders and evidence dumped at another location, police say.

A 25-year-old South Launceston man and a 41-year-old West Launceston man were charged with murder on Friday and have been remanded to reappear at Launceston Magistrates' Court on February 6.

The pair were arrested and charged just hours before the body was located.
