ATM blast leads to charges for Tas man

A man has been charged after he allegedly attempted to blow up an automatic teller machine in suburban Launceston.
The 42-year-old was arrested overnight at Ravenswood, where police allege he tried to cause an explosion at a Commonwealth Bank ATM.
The man was charged with aggravated burglary and possessing explosives with criminal intent, and is due to face court on Friday.
