Alleged stabber faces manslaughter charge

Prosecutors have upgraded a criminal charge over a stabbing on the outskirts of Hobart which led to a man's death.

Zachary Tyler Hyde, 20, died in hospital on May 22, two days after he was allegedly stabbed in the leg by Deejay Feil, 19.

Feil was initially charged with causing grievous bodily harm but on Friday police upgraded that to manslaughter.
