Sacked footballer Tarryn Thomas hit with fresh charges after police raid
Sacked North Melbourne footballer Tarryn Thomas has been today hit with new charges after police raided a Melbourne property, understood to be his home.
Thomas, 24, has been charged with using a telecommunications service to harass and breaching a court order after he was arrested when police raided a premises in Ormond about 11.15am.
Police have said the charges relate to "reports of alleged harassing phone calls".

He was bailed to the Broadmeadows Magistrates' Court on 21 November.
Earlier this month, police confirmed they were investigating Thomas after a woman made a report to police on April 11.
Thomas was sacked from North Melbourne in February after the AFL found Thomas guilty of inappropriate behaviour towards a female and confirmed he was not eligible to play any football during the 2024 season.
