Takeaway worker allegedly stabbed by 12-year-old boy in Queensland

A takeaway shop worker has allegedly been stabbed by a 12-year-old boy in Acacia Road, Queensland.

Yang Zu-Ing, 24, was taking a phone order from his Beaudesert Road business when he was allegedly ambushed by the boy.

"I was answering the phone, and suddenly, I was being attacked," Mr Zu-Ing told 9NEWS.

"I found a knife in my back."

He transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The alleged offender fled the scene, but was taken into custody soon after.

The Pallara boy has since been charged with one count of wounding.
