Man charged after allegedly breaking into Sydney Zoo and swimming in aquarium while friends filmed him
A man has been charged after allegedly breaking into a zoo and swimming in the aquarium while his friends filmed.
The 30-year-old allegedly entered Sydney Zoo in Eastern Creek, ignoring warning signs, about 3pm on Monday.
He is then accused of diving into the water at the aquarium and swimming in the water as his friends recorded him.

Footage showing a man swimming in his underwear was uploaded to social media, and subsequently used in the police investigation.
The Peakhurst man was issued a court attendance notice for behaving in an offensive manner, entering enclosed non-agricultural lands and interfering with business, and opening, entering or damaging an animal enclosure.
He is due to face Blacktown Local Court on September 17. Inquiries are continuing.
