Sydney woman drowns in backyard pool

An elderly woman has drowned in a backyard pool in Sydney's west.
The 80-year-old woman was found unresponsive in the water this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive her when they responded to the callout in Blacktown this afternoon.
The woman has not yet been identified.
