Several flights were delayed at Sydney Airport as damaging winds wreak havoc on the city.
A severe weather warning is in place for large parts of the NSW coast with hazardous surf conditions churning up monstrous waves and wind gusts exceeding 90km/h along the south coast and Hunter Region.

Several domestic flights at Sydney Airport were delayed due to the dangerous weather, with runways closed due to the weather.
International flights have not been affected.
The dangerous winds are expected to continue into the evening.
