Sydney toll prices set to increase on New Year's Day
Sydney motorists are set to get a not-so-welcome late Christmas present, with toll prices in the city set to increase on January 1.
The price increases are part of a quarterly price update that is in line with an arrangement with the NSW government.
The aim of the price updates is to continue supporting the construction, operations and maintenance of toll roads.

While many tolls are increasing in Sydney, Harbour Bridge toll prices will remain the same. 9News
Vehicles travelling along the M5 on the New Year's weekend can expect a toll increase from $4.94 to $4.97.
The Eastern Distributor will jump nearly 10 cents to $8.56 from $8.48.
Drivers using the Hills M2 main plaza can expect a rise from $8.36 to $8.45.
And the Northconnex will now cost motorists $8.44 from $8.36.
However, in some good news for the city's motorists, there will be no change to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Tunnel toll prices.
