Sydney to farewell Prince Harry on Opera House steps
Prince Harry greets fans on his arrival in Australia.
Sydney will have a chance to farewell Australia's new favourite royal, Prince Harry, with a public meet and greet on the steps of the Sydney Opera House tomorrow.
Prince Harry has been in Sydney for the past several days as part of his Australian tour of duty, under the name Captain Harry Wales.
He has been spotted at cafes and pubs around Australia during his tour, but royalists will now get to see him in person.
He will meet a wider section of his Australian fans after he takes part in a training exercise in Sydney Harbour tomorrow.
Following the exercise, he will arrive at the Man of War steps at the Opera House at about 12.30pm to meet Premier Mike Baird.
Members of the public have also been invited to wish the prince farewell.
It is likely to be the prince's final public appearance during his tour in Australia, which is set to end on May 9.
The fourth in line to the throne has trained with the SAS in Perth and travelled to Gallipoli to lay a wreath during the centenary commemorations on April 25.
Prince Harry is a veteran of two tours of Afghanistan.
