Teacher's aide allegedly engaged in child prostitution, filmed abuse
An 18-year-old teacher's aide in Sydney's south-west has been charged with child prostitution after he allegedly paid children to engage in sexual acts with him on film.
Police started investigating the man in September 2024 and seized multiple electronic devices during a search of a home in Picton last November.
After months of investigation, detectives returned to the home and arrested the 18-year-old this morning.

He was taken to Narellan Police Station and charged with child prostitution, producing child abuse material, and possessing child abuse material.
He was refused bail and was expected to appear in Moss Vale Local Court today.
Police said they will allege the 18-year-old met other teenagers online, and paid them to engage in sexual acts with him on camera.
Police will also claim the 18-year-old had several fake online profiles that he allegedly used to extort young children.
A police investigation is ongoing.
