A Sydney swimming instructor accused of sexually assaulting young girls has been ordered to stand trial in the NSW District Court.

Kyle James Henk Daniels, 21, has pleaded not guilty to 26 charges related to the alleged assault of students at a Mosman swim school in 2018.

He denies eight counts of intentionally sexually touching a child under 10, nine of sexual intercourse with a child under 10, and nine of indecent assault of a child under 16.

Supported by his parents, Daniels faced the Downing Centre Local Court today when deputy chief magistrate Michael Allen was told 30 similar charges have been withdrawn.

He committed Daniels to stand trial in the NSW District Court and listed the case for arraignment later this month.

Nine AVO matters will remain in the local court.
