Four men arrested over brutal stabbing and string of armed robberies

Four men have been arrested in connection with a brutal stabbing that left a man hospitalised in Sydney overnight.

Police launched a major manhunt after a 50-year-old man was jumped and stabbed by two men as he walked along Spencer Road at Mosman about 10.40pm yesterday.

Four men aged between 23 and 30 have now been arrested by police after their vehicle was stopped on Miller Street at North Sydney about 12.30am, two hours after the alleged attack.

The men were taken to Chatswood Police Station where police are questioning them about the alleged stabbing, but also about a trio of recent armed robberies in the area.

Last night’s victim was treated by paramedics at the scene for wounds to his arm and back and has been taken to the Royal North Shore Hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
