Elderly woman charged over alleged calls to mosque
An 82-year-old woman who allegedly made threatening phone calls to a Sydney mosque has been charged by police.
NSW Police were called on Friday by a mosque on Garema Circuit, Kingsgrove, following reports of allegedly harassing phone calls.
Officers were told the mosque had had two phone calls on Tuesday, October 1 and one on Friday.

At 9.50am on Saturday police went to speak to an 82-year-old woman in Five Dock.
She allegedly told staff at Masjid Arrahman that Australia "is for Israelis", according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
She also allegedly told mosque leaders to "go back to your own country", and also called them "c---s".
She was issued a future court attendance notice for the offence of use carriage service to menace/harass/offend.
She will appear before Bankstown Local Court on November 27.
The mosque has garnered negative headlines since the outbreak of the conflict after calling slain Hezbollah fighters "martyrs", the paper reported.
