Fire crews lost control of a hazard reduction burn on Sydney's Northern Beaches on Saturday.
After one of the wettest years on record, fire crews conducted a hazard reduction burn.
The blaze escaped a containment line at about 5pm and started burning in bushland outside of the designated area.
