Mother left terrified after shots fired at home in third Sydney shooting in 24 hours
A mother and a baby are lucky to be alive and a man has been found in a park with a gunshot wound following two separate shootings in Sydney's south-west overnight.
Police found bullet casings on the driveway after being called to the Mount Pritchard home about 10.15pm yesterday.
A man who was not home at the time of the shooting is helping police with their investigation.

Speaking to 9News the mother, who did not wish to be identified, said the incident was terrifying.
"I was too scared, then didn’t know what to do," she said.
Witnesses told 9News they were shocked by the incident.
"The man hopped in, the driver already has the car on and they have driven off," one said.

"This was exactly within 10 seconds of that noise."
"If you're trying to settle in a new country and this happens, it's very shaken," another said.
Just two hours later, a 37-year-old man was found at a park 5km away with a gunshot wound to his forearm.

Police were called to the park on Avenel Street and Sackville Street, Canley Vale, following reports a 37-year-old had a gunshot wound on his arm.
He was taken to the Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

The latest violence comes after a spate of drive-by shootings across Western Sydney which police believe have been sparked by tensions between Middle Eastern crime gangs.
However, police do not believe the Mount Pritchard shooting is linked to that ongoing gang war.

Shots were also fired at two homes, in Ryde and Regents Park, in the early hours of yesterday.
In the first shooting at 12.55am, a home at Yukka Road in Regents Park was fired on for the second time in 24 hours.
Just 20 minutes later another home was shot at in Charles Street in Ryde.

Meanwhile police have confirmed a man has been arrested and will appear in court after being charged over the alleged possession of a prohibited weapon.
As part of Operation Talon, assisted by the Tactical Operations Unit and South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad, officers conducted a Firearm Prohibition Order search at a home unit and garage at Berala just after 3.30pm yesterday.
Police allegedly found multiple rounds of ammunition and an extendable baton which were seized to undergo forensic examination.
A 33-year-man was arrested at the location and taken to Auburn Police Station, where he was charged with possess prohibited weapon.
He was refused bail to appear in Burwood Local Court today.
