Man dies after stabbing near Sydney CBD

A man has died after allegedly being stabbed in Sydney over the weekend.
The 40-year-old was allegedly stabbed in the neck at 2.30am on Sunday on Pirrama Road, Pyrmont.

He was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition, but died this morning.
A 50-year-old man who was charged over the stabbing will now face a murder charge.
He is due to face Central Local Court today.
