Man dies after being pulled from Sydney backyard pool
A sunny summer's day has taken a tragic turn as a man in his 50s has died in Botany, according to NSW police.
The man was pulled from a pool in the backyard of a suburban home on Botany Road in Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Bystanders started to perform CPR on the man and continued until paramedics arrived just after midday.

The man was unable to be revived, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A crime scene has been established while police investigate.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
