Man, 53, arrested after woman, 50, stabbed in the chest in Sydney home
A 53-year-old man has been arrested after a 50-year-old woman was stabbed in the chest in Sydney’s north-west.
Police were called to a home on Elliott Avenue in East Ryde about 2am today.
A woman at the home had suffered a stab wound and was rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital.

The man was arrested and taken to Ryde Police Station.
Police are investigating.
The incident is believed to be domestic violence-related.
