Man dies after being hit by car in Sydney

A man has died after being hit by a car in Sydneyon Christmas Eve.
The accident happened on Edensor Road in Bonnyrigg in Sydney's south-west, just before 9.15pm, NSW Police said.
Paramedics treated the 79-year-old man but he died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, a 49-year-old man, was uninjured and was taken to Fairfield Hospital and underwent mandatory testing.
A 20-year-old woman in the vehicle was also uninjured.
Police set up a crime scene and say a report will be prepared for the coroner.
