A Sydney fashion designer has been arrested by police after more victims came forward to police following a report on A Current Affair last month about him allegedly groping models.

Plain clothed police officers swooped on Shardz Hourani at a Sydney shopping centre today, where he works as a menswear salesman at clothing chain Roger David.

He was then escorted by police through the shopping centre.

Part-time models Dani and Tia broke their silence last month, claiming Hourani would touch them inappropriately during photo shoots.

Photographer David Spinks captured the allegedly inappropriate behaviour and has passed the footage on to police.

Hourani has been arrested on five charges of assault with act of indecency.

He will front court on July 30.
