A doctor has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of two patients at a medical centre in Sydney's south.

The 45-year-old man from Monterey was arrested at a medical centre in Arncliffe today after police received reports of two separate incidents last month.

Police will allege in court the doctor indecently assaulted a 28-year-old woman during a consultation on June 4.

Weeks later, he allegedly sexually assaulted a 19-year-old woman during a consultation at the same medical centre on June 26.

Police were alerted and began an investigation.

They today charged the 45-year-old doctor with sexually touching another person without consent and sexual intercourse without consent.

He was refused bail and will appear at Sutherland Local Court today.
