Heads up commuters: City Circle train line down this weekend
Sydney’s busy City Circle line will be out of action this weekend.
If commuters want to get to central Circular Quay or Museum stops on Saturday or Sunday, they’ll have to get buses.
The route’s operations centre is receiving a major upgrade.

The signalling system – where information is sent from operators to train drivers at the station – is being changed from analogue to digital.
It hasn’t been upgraded since 1979.
The T8 Airport line will also be affected, with commuters advised to check transport websites.
Normal services will resume on Monday.
