Sydney mortgage broker who crashed Ferrari spared jail
A mortgage broker who crashed a Ferrari in Sydney's CBD while drunk has walked free with a community service order.
Norman Vancuylenberg, 41, purchased the high-powered vehicle in January this year when he misjudged a corner on Market Street and ploughed into a jewellery store.
Pedestrians were forced to jump out of the way of the vehicle as it mounted the footpath, with one woman fracturing her hip in the process.

Police who arrested Mr Vancuylenberg found his license had been suspended for failing to pay speeding fines and he allegedly blew a blood alcohol test of 0.107.
Today in court the father-of-three was fined $800 and disqualified from driving for 18 months.
Mr Vancuylenberg admitted he suffered from an alcohol addiction and will undergo a rehabilitation program as well as serving 100 hours of community service.
