Lucky escape for driver who crashed through store window in Sydney
A Sydney driver has escaped virtually unscathed after ploughing through the front window of an Ezymart in Pyrmont this afternoon.
The crash caused the store employee to dive for cover after the car came off the road and came crashing into the small convenience store.
After crashing through the glass window, the Nissan X-Trail ended up almost completely inside the store although no one was seriously hurt.

A tow truck was brought in to recover the vehicle under the close eye of firefighters. 9News
Footage from after the accident shows emergency crews trying to remove the vehicle without causing further damage.
The driver was not seriously injured despite suffering bruises due to the airbag being deployed.
Incredibly, nobody was injured as a result of the crash. 9News
