Swedish sign-language interpreter steals the show from Eurovision hopefuls

A Swedish sign-language interpreter whose emotional and at times salacious interpretation of a pop performance has stolen the show at the Scandinavian nation’s Eurovision Song Contest trials.

As the choreographed performances played on a TV screen behind him sign-artist Tommy Krångh became the real star with his energetic dance moves and sheer love for signing.

Wearing a black shirt and purple bowtie, Krångh bust out moves, pouted, stroked his own cheek and winked as he interpreted the live pop songs for deaf Swedes.

There were a number of interpreters on-hand to translate the night's performances as part of a service provided by Sweden's national broadcaster SVT, but none matched Krångh's talent and enthusiasm.

The video of Krångh was recorded on Saturday night but is now going viral.

Internet pundits have demanding more to see more of the viral star in future events .

"Some day (sic) I want a job I enjoy as much as this guy. Major props!" wrote on person on Reddit.

"I laughed so hard when I watched this, I hope this turns viral and he gets the chance to do this in Eurovision!" wrote another.

"This is so fabulous. I'm so happy this video and this man exist ," said another.
