Suspicious fire tears through home
Police are investigating a blaze that gutted a home in Melbourne’s north last night.
Fire crews were called to Pascoe Vale Road, Jacana, about 6.40pm.
The single-storey weatherboard home was found fully alight, and firefighters were forced to evacuate neighbouring homes.

No one was injured.
In total 28 firefighters were needed to fight the fire, which took 40 minutes to control.
Asbestos was located in the roof of the home, with crews required to wear decontamination clothing.
Police have told the TODAY Show that the blaze is suspicious, and investigations are ongoing.
