Man stabbed on busy Surfers Paradise strip
A tourist from WA has been stabbed on the Gold Coast's Surfers Paradise while out with a group on the Esplanade.
The four men and one woman were walking in the area about 7pm last night with an argument broke out.
The 36-year-old man was stabbed three times in the chest and abdomen, and managed to get help from passers-by who called emergency services.

He was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Police conducted a search of the area, even utilising Polair, but the group the man was with couldn’t be found.
