Support planes not linked to Iraq strike

Australian support aircraft are not linked to deadly airstrike operations that killed up to 200 civilians in west Mosul in Iraq 11 days ago.

The federal government had already confirmed RAAF Hornets were not connected to the incident.

Government frontbencher James McGrath told the Senate on Tuesday Australia's Wedgetail airborne early warning and control aircraft or tanker aircraft were not involved either.
