Supermodel Bella Hadid falls hard on catwalk in New York

Fashion model Bella Hadid has taken a mighty tumble on the runway during New York Fashion Week.

Hadid, 19, was walking for the Michael Kors fashion show in New York last night when she tripped on her high heels.

Photographs and video show the model lunging forwards towards a pit of snapping paparazzi.

Despite landing with force on her hands and knees, she quickly recovered and continued to strut down the catwalk.

Soon after, she posted a picture of her bleeding foot surrounded by Band-Aids on social media with the caption “Fashion Week”.

Bella was recently awarded GQ Magazine’s Model of the Year, and is the younger sister of fellow covergirl , Gigi Hadid.
