Study to shed light on homeless veterans
AAP
A new study aims to shed light on the extent of homelessness among ex military personnel.
The University of New South Wales and the University of Adelaide will conduct the research next year.
Veterans Minister Dan Tehan said the data will help the government offer better support services and address the factors that can cause homelessness.

NSW Minister for Family and Community Services Brad Hazzard welcomed the study saying "it has been hard to get a grip on how many diggers are homeless".
"Diggers who end up on the streets often have complex trauma and mental health problems," he said in a statement on Friday.
