Struggle Street star out of rehab and ready for fresh start

Reluctant reality television star Corey Kennedy has returned home after a three month stay at a Victorian rehabilitation centre.

Mr Kennedy's drug-fuelled descent to rock bottom after a decade-long ice addiction was played out on SBS docu-reality series Struggle Street last year.

"I was a train wreck," Mr Kennedy told A Current Affair.

"Ice took my life, it took my soul."

Mr Kennedy led police on a fast-paced pursuit through western Sydney in an unregistered vehicle with a cancelled licence in March.

His original sentencing hearing in June was deferred until today, but has been postponed until November 3.

He will now be moving north of Sydney to complete further rehabilitation.

"If I go back to Mount Druitt, I'll start using again," Mr Kennedy said.

"I was in that environment and I don't want it."

"I'm just proud of myself."
