Over 50,000 homes lose power in titanic Perth storm
Perth has been left in shambles after a massive storm swept the state's south-west, cutting power to 55,000 homes.
Vehicles and buildings were damaged and trees sent crashing onto roads around the city.

"I was in bed at 3.30 when a big crash, bang, whoosh," resident Bevan Jilley said.
"Good alarm clock, woke us up early."
Department of Fire and Emergency Services Assistant Commissioner Paul Ryan said there had been more than 420 calls for assistance.

The seas were whipped up, with boats broken away from their moorings at Kwinana Beach.
Winds topped 128km/h at the Capes, while falls up to 59mm hammered down throughout the city.
