Stolen ute crashes into Melbourne house

Police are still searching for the driver of a stolen ute that crashed into a Melbourne house after hitting a parked car and ploughing through two fences.
An 81-year-old woman was inside the Lilydale home when the ute crashed through the lounge room at 4.40am on Sunday.

The Nine Network is reporting police have already interviewed the owner of the ute and plan to do so again.
A Victoria Police spokesman could not confirm those reports but said the matter was still being investigated.
