Sticky Fingers lead singer and bassist allegedly involved in brawl in Marrickville

Two members of a controversial Sydney band allegedly came to blows outside a bowling club at the weekend.

About 5pm on Saturday emergency services responded to reports of a brawl on Faversham Street near the Marrickville Bowling and Recreation Club.

Two men aged 28 and 29, who are known to each other, were spoken to by Inner West Police.

9News understands the men were the singer and bassist from Sydney band Sticky Fingers, Dylan Frost, 28, and Patrick Cornwall, 29.

The younger man, Frost, was suffering from redness and bruising to his face. He was searched prior to being taken to hospital; police allegedly located a knife in his possession, and it was seized.

Inquires continue and no charges have been laid.

The band have had a tumultuous few years. In 2016 allegations that Frost had verbally abused another Sydney artist, Thelma Plum, were revealed.

The fall-out resulted in Sticky Fingers announcing a hiatus and cancelling an upcoming tour so frontman Frost could deal with mental health issues.

In 2018 they announced they would be returning to the stage, but their return was met with mixed responses.
