Stabbing death in remote WA community

Homicide detectives are flying to a remote community in northern Western Australia after the body of a 20-year-old man was found with stab wounds.
About 3.40pm WST on Sunday, police were called to the One Arm Point community near Dampier after the man was found unconscious.
Medical staff attempted to revive the man, but he died shortly after.

A 44-year-old woman from the same community, who is known to the victim, has been taken into custody and is assisting with the investigation.
Major Crime Squad detectives and forensic officers from Perth are on their way to the community to conduct further investigations.
They were expected to arrive in the community on Monday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
