Teenager stabbed at western Sydney shopping centre

A teenager was stabbed and had his lung punctured after an argument with four men at a cinema in a western Sydney shopping centre, police said.

The 18-year old was attacked on level four of the Westpoint centre in Blacktown at around 8.20pm yesterday.

He was stabbed in the back after an altercation with four men, who fled before police arrived.

The teenager was treated by NSW Ambulance at the scene before being taken to Westmead Hospital, where he is in a stable condition.

Detectives from Blacktown Police Area Command are appealing for witnesses to contact them, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
