Two female students injured, one critical, after alleged stabbing at ANU in Canberra
Two female students have been injured, one critically, after an alleged stabbing at the Australian National University in Canberra today.
Police and ambulance services were called to the campus about 2.45pm after reports of a stabbing.
Three people were found injured, two with stab wounds and one who was allegedly assaulted, ACT Police said.

The two women, both aged 20, were taken to hospital a short time later.
One of them is in a critical condition, and the other is stable.
A 34-year-old man was also allegedly assaulted.
An earlier statement said all three were hospitalised, however ACT Police have since confirmed the man received minor injuries and did not require transportation to hospital.

A 24-year-old man, who is not believed to be a student of the university, is in police custody.
He has not been charged at this time.
Authorities are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
