Man charged with murder of St Albans mother

A man has been charged with the murder of a mother found dead in a suburban Melbourne home.
The 44-year-old woman's body was found inside a View Street, St Albans, property shortly after 9am on September 10, prompting police to search for a male suspect.
Phuc Thien Tan, 49, was arrested by police this morning in Richmond and has since been charged with the woman’s murder.

He will face Melbourne Magistrates Court tonight.
It’s understood Mr Tan’s will be remanded in custody without the option of bail.
