Driver on the run after hitting pedestrian in Melbourne
Police are searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian with their car before driving off in Melbourne's north-west earlier this month.
A 49-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after she was hit by a white Nissan X-Trail SUV at the intersection of McKechnie Street in St Albans about 10.50am on November 15.
The driver stopped briefly to check on the victim, before fleeing the scene, police said.

The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police have urged anyone with further information or who has dashcam footage or otherwise witnessed the collision, to contact Crime Stoppers.
