South-east Queenslanders face a weekend of likely wild weather, with possibly severe thunderstorms hitting Logan, south of Brisbane, this afternoon.
The Bureau of Meteorology yesterday said heavy rainfall and thunderstorms were forecast for the region across the weekend and possibly on Monday.
The storm could be brought on by a supercell expected to move through the region, however supercells are difficult to forecast, according to Weatherzone.

Supercells can last several hours, while thunderstorms will typically last between 20-30 minutes.
